Pet Bereavement support is led by me, Tracey Peters. I am a pet owner and I’ve yet to meet an animal I didn’t like.
I am a qualified Integrative Counsellor. This means that I have been trained to work with you in many different styles of counselling and so can work with you in the way that supports you best. This usually involves a conversation about what you are finding difficult and sometimes involves creative work, such as using stones, sand or soft toys. Whatever approach we take you will be in total control of each session.
I am qualified to MSc. Level, I have an Advanced Diploma in Integrative Counselling and I am proud to be a fully trained Cruse volunteer. Cruse offer specialist Bereavement support to people who have suffered bereavement of their family or friends.
I am a registered member of the British Association of Counsellors and Psychotherapists and abide by their Code of Ethics in all elements of my work and I receive Clinical Supervision regularly to ensure I maintain professional high standards.
